Types of Reviews

On AllReviews there are different methods that consumers can use to leave a review. The most frequent ones are through organic means or through invitation. Everyone can leave a review, even if you have no user account. These are the two types of reviews we have on our review platform.

Organic reviews from consumers

Most of our reviews come from consumers. These are users who have bought a product or a service from a company and want to leave their opinion. These are always users that sign up to our platform and leave a review without being stimulated by an external source.

These reviews are spontaneously written by consumers who have purchased a product or service. They decide on their own to share their experiences on the platform without any intervention from the business. They are valuable for the user because:

  • Voluntary: The decision to leave a review is entirely up to the consumer.
  • Unique Experience: There is no external encouragement or incentive from the company to influence the consumer to write a review.
  • Authenticity: Typically, these reviews are perceived as highly authentic because they arise from the genuine motivation of the consumer to share their experience, whether positive or negative.

Reviews through company invitation

Companies on AllReviews are allowed to send invitations to their customers to leave a review. These users are stimulated by the company to leave a review on our platform. This is also allowed, as long as the reviews are fair and objective.

In this scenario, companies actively encourage their customers to leave a review by sending them invitations. This encouragement is a direct initiative by the company to garner feedback on their products or services. They are defined by the following values:

  • Solicited: The company sends out invitations asking customers to review their experiences.
  • Controlled: While companies can remind customers to leave a review, they must ensure the process remains unbiased and does not sway the content of the reviews.
  • Fairness and Objectivity: It’s crucial for these solicited reviews to remain as impartial as possible. Companies must not influence the nature of the reviews, ensuring that customers feel free to provide honest feedback.
