Types of Reviews

AllReviews offers several ways for consumers to share their feedback. The most common methods are organically or by invitation. Anyone can leave a review, even without a user account. Here are the two types of reviews featured on our platform.

Organic Consumer Reviews

The majority of our reviews come from consumers who have used a company's product or service and voluntarily want to share their opinion. These individuals sign up and leave a review independently, without any prompting from outside sources.

These reviews are written spontaneously by customers who genuinely want to share their experiences. There is no involvement from the business in prompting these reviews, making them valuable because:

  • Voluntary: The decision to leave a review rests entirely with the consumer.
  • Unique Experience: The reviews are not influenced or incentivized by the company in any way.
  • Authenticity: Generally, these reviews are seen as highly genuine, as they stem from the consumer's own desire to share their experience, whether positive or negative.

Invited Reviews

Companies on AllReviews are also permitted to send invitations to their customers, encouraging them to leave a review. These users provide feedback prompted by the company's request, which is acceptable as long as the reviews remain honest and unbiased.

In these cases, companies take the initiative to request feedback on their products or services by sending out invitations. These reviews are characterised by the following values:

  • Solicited: The company reaches out to customers, asking them to share their experiences.
  • Controlled: Although companies can remind customers to leave reviews, they must ensure the process remains fair and does not influence the content.
  • Fairness and Objectivity: It is crucial that these invited reviews stay impartial. Companies must not sway the nature of the reviews, allowing customers the freedom to offer honest feedback.
