My reviews received a verification request

Companies you've reviewed might contact you if they think you're referring to the wrong business or breaking AllReviews' rules.

Why Would a Company Contact Me?

Contacting a review author is a standard step for companies dealing with tricky reviews. They might reach out for a few reasons:

Not Recognized as a Customer:

  • Sometimes, companies need more info if they can't identify you as their customer. Asking for extra details helps them address any issues quickly.

Review Seems Wrong:

  • If your review seems to be for the wrong company, they might ask if you meant to review their business specifically.

Breaking the Rules:

  • Reviews shouldn’t have confidential or personal info. If a company thinks your review has such content, they may ask for it to be removed.

Eligibility Concerns:

  • If a company thinks your review doesn’t meet AllReviews' standards, they might ask for more info to verify your experience.

This guide explains why and when a company might contact you about your review, aiming to be clear and sort out any concerns.

How Does It Work?

You'll get a message from the company at the email linked to your account. You choose how to respond. You have one week to deal with the issue.

What Happens If I Disagree With the Request or Don’t Respond?

If you disagree with the company's request, choose not to respond, or don’t give enough info, your review will likely be removed after a final check by our team.

This process ensures both sides have a fair chance to address any concerns about the review, keeping the platform's trustworthiness.
